Bafana Bafana coach, Molefi Ntseki has had to make chargers five to his 26 man squad ahead of the AFCON qualifiers against Ghana and Sudan this week.

Lebo Maboe and Thabiso Kutumela have been called in to replace injured Kermit Erasmus and Bradley Grobler while Thabo Nodada, Mothobi Mvala and Vincent Pule have been drafted to replace doubtful Keagan Dolly, Bongani Zungu and Dean Furman who are currently held up by European travel restriction. Percy Tau is currently the only oversea player to have reported to camp.

Finishing second in Group C guarantees Bafana a spot in the upcoming AFCON tournament that will be held in Cameroon in January 2022. Bafana currently sits on second position behind Ghana separated by goal difference.

South Africa will play Ghana on Thursday at the FNB stadium and Sudan on Sunday at the Al-Hilal stadium in Sudan.
